History: paris is the only child of richard and clarice clearwater. her family is very rich(her father is a well-connected politician) and she was raised posh with speaking lessons starting at four up until now.

her father has always been constantly away at business or social outings, but whenever he was home she was the perfect daddy's girl. paris and her mother have never quite gotten along. her mother never really wanted to have a child, fearing for the destruction of her stunningly good looks, but richard clearwater gets what richard clearwater wants. a nanny was hired to raise paris and keep her out of sight whenever mum got a bad headache.

from the moment she was born high standards were set for paris. she has never had to spare no more than a glance at a public school(private schools all her life, she works her ass for the third highest GPA in the most prestigious school of new york.) and anything less than an A was dealt with swiftly so as she would never do it again. her parents have never been physically abusing, but her mother has kept her brilliant mind under lock and key. she has never worn the wrong thing to a public outing and would never dream of wearing something "slutty." her mother expects her to marry up, but reminds her to not expect too much... she isn't the prettiest girl, after all. paris must be respectful, polite, and endearing at all times, and good heavens would you please sit up?!

paris's mother has recently started drinking more and now pays her even less attention than she has before - not that paris minds. she hasn't taken advantage of the situation yet, but she is curious about the dirtier parts of nyc that she has yet to discover.

Personality: paris is not naive, but she is certainly lacking when it comes to pop culture. she only reads and watches the classics that her mother pre-approved. when it comes to the government and human nature she is a cynist, easily able to ramble of all the qualms. she is sexually repressed and extremely self-conscious, her mother has made it very clear that she will not have her daughter running around with mediocre boys like some common slut. paris has had small school-girl crushes, but never on boys that her mother would approve of so she never acted. her mother is constantly setting her up on dates with preppy snobs that would love to get their money-stinking hands all over her. she doesn't have much interest in dating, but can get a little side-tracked with either girls or boys. her main focus is school. she is a perfectionist and has a goal to get the highest GPA in her prep school. at school she is a complete bitch, especially to the girls that can challenge her GPA-standing. she has very few friends and they're the type that only stay with her because of her profit income. she's very involved with extra-curricular activities - anything to keep her out of the house, she loves school. she's the editor for the school paper, one of the top debaters for the debate team(she can argue like crazy), on the dance committee, and attends any and all social events.
